AFAK 2025: A strategic vision for a new  growth cycle

In 2017, Marsa Maroc Group adopted a strategic plan known as "Afak 2025", that marks the beginning of a new era of growth reflecting the significant progress made over the last decade.

The Group aims to become a renowned and efficient international port operator by 2025, participating proactively in the improvement of logistics in Morocco and Africa.  To reach this goal, the Group will strive to maintain its position as a national leader in port handling and logistics.

Our 3 strategic priorities for 2025

Priority 1: STRENGTHENING OUR POSITION AS A LEADING PORT OPERATOR IN MOROCCO

AFAK 2025 aims at ensuring that the Group remains a key player in the changes that the national port sector will undergo, particularly induced by the planned commissioning of several new generation port infrastructures during the next decade, namely: Port of Safi-Atlantique, Nador West Med, Kenitra Atlantique and Dakhla Atlantique. This goal will be achieved by obtaining new concession contracts that will enable the Group to maintain and consolidate its position as a national leader.

Priority 2: ESTABLISHING A SIGNIFICANT PRESENCE IN AFRICA

AFAK 2025 focuses on leveraging the Group's know-how in order to geographically diversify its portfolio and position it as a renowned multi-traffic port operator at the continental level, in particular by obtaining port concession contracts and participating in large-scale projects in Africa.

Priority 3: CONTRIBUTING TO IMPROVING LOGISTICS

Thanks to the strategic presence of the Group in the main Moroccan ports, AFAK 2025 aims at consolidating its role by developing and diversifying its activities through its involvement in improving logistics.

Thus, the Group plans to propose in the near future, to major industrial companies, an end-to-end solution to handle their logistics .
